A beautiful ride on dedicated Danube cycle path with only a couple of cars to contend with. I managed to navigate using the signage and didn’t resort to my GPS until the end to find my accommodation. I found this much more enjoyable than spending the day looking at my screen. The signage was fantastic apart from a couple of sections. Lots of climbing at the end including some 11% pinches and a rainstorm to keep things real. Turns out I booked my accommodation for July and not tonight! Luckily they had a spare room! It’s a beautiful place that Mario and Sandra have run for five years. They are even going to cook me dinner! It’s super hot and the riding is very draining. I’m trying to focus on hydration but am still struggling to get enough food!
