So a long flat ride today along the canal path. 94km including them supermarket trip. Absolutely no rest thus the reason for leaving at 6am and Elodie totally understood. The heat is around 40 degrees and higher on the road although we had some great shade on the cycle path today but it was a tiring day,
We made great time. Almost got lost in Toulouse but didn’t. Almost got hit by a car in Toulouse, but didn’t! Strange times.
Campground Les Violettes is amazing. So great for cyclists with chairs and tables, free power, and great facilities including a pool. Off to Carcassonne tomorrow! Another big one!
